About Us

Mission Statement: MidState Mayhem is Springfield Illinois’ very own roller derby team! MidState Mayhem Roller Derby (MMRD) promotes and supports local athletics, charities, civic organizations and businesses through the sport of roller derby. The MMRD is committed to achieving the highest levels of sportsmanship, competition, integrity and production quality while enriching the lives of our members and the community.

Focus for 2013:

Right now we are in a transition period. We are focusing on recruiting and training fresh meat. We will also be putting on fundraisers. Bouts are expensive to put on, so we will not schedule a full bout season for 2013. We plan to skate in mixers and any other opportunities that arise. We may plan a few intramural bouts in late summer or fall.
